Our Story

Everyone remembers “the ride”… that bicycle ride, or rides, of epic quality shared with other cyclists young and old. Whether it was a mountain bike trip with lots of spills and thrills, a long distance road tour that stretched you to your limits, your first ever triathlon, or that memorable family cycling jaunt through the park. You will always remember, always talk about, always long for, always enjoy the ride.

“The Ride” was founded and begun in March of 2004 not only to fill the desperate need for friendly, high quality sales and service of bicycle products, but even more importantly to rally cyclists around one sole purpose: to enjoy “the ride” and introduce others to the wonderful sport of cycling. All recreational peddlers whether roadie, triathlete, tour junkie, techno weenie, pedal head, mountain biker, cruiser, or weekend warrior can come together and share the sport they love with others. That’s what it’s all about. So come on into The Ride, sign up to join us for a group ride or tour, come out and do your first race with us (or your 100th), see what the weather is doing today, see what others are riding, buy some gear, have some fun, enjoy the sport you love, and share it with others.

Check out our store in the photos below. We have one of the best bike shop layouts around. There's a great selection, we've got a little bit of everything, and its easy to find what you want.

Welcome to The Ride "Your Full Service Bicycle Store". Here it is, the meeting spot for the best group rides around. What's a bike store without lots of bikes? We keep a great level of inventory in bikes. Don't see what you want on the floor, just ask, we have an off site storage facility where we keep even more bikes. If we still don't have it, we can get here and ready for you in less than a week.

We have a very extensive service department with ALL of the best tools and highly professional mechanics.
